Scuba DivingScuba divers in the water

We are known for our fantastic fresh-water diving and our many interesting shipwrecks - from freighters to schooners - below the clear depths of the St. Lawrence River. Among those wrecks are the Rothesay, the H.P. Bigelow, Lillie Parsons, Robert Gaskin, Muscallonge, Fleur Marie and the John B. King. The region has been called Canada's Caribbean when it comes to scuba diving.

Diving along the St. Lawrence River has gained in popularity in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville for the past 20 years. There has been high praise for diving locally because of the clarity of the water and the lack of thermocline. Wrecks lie in depths varying from 7.6 to 42 metres (25 to 140 feet). There are many local diving shops and clubs. Dive packages and dive tours are available at many scuba diving supply businesses along the St. Lawrence River. Use our searchable database below of local scuba diving operations and shops. The category search tool is in the process of being enhanced. We thank you for your patience.
